Job summary

Precision Castparts in Ohio seeks a Director of Operations to oversee all day-to-day manufacturing at the Wickliffe and Eastlake facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in supervision and management of production operations.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ITAR and aerospace quality standards.
• Lean Manufacturing, TOC and Six Sigma experience.
• Hands-on, accountable leadership with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for plant operations, including production, maintenance and logistics.
• Develop and execute operational plans to meet safety, quality, delivery and EBIT goals.
• Optimize resource allocation and labor to achieve cost reductions.
• Ensure KPI targets for throughput, productivity and on-time delivery.
• Oversee scheduling, capacity planning and workflow to meet aerospace specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and Executive Leadership.
