Job summary

Pryer Machine & Tool Company in Owasso, OK seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate launches of new or revised parts. You will apply Kaizen and Lean methods, review tooling, select materials per specs, and ensure production readiness with cost-effective processes.

You'll collaborate across departments, drive design changes with customers, and partner with quality to resolve CARs and ensure on-time delivery throughout the product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Kaizen/Lean manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised parts and components.
• Analyzes customer specifications to determine feasibility, cost, and timetable.
• Recommends design changes to meet customer requirements and documents revisions.
• Works with quality to review issues during manufacturing launch and resolve CARs.
• Tests machine capability and ensures proper manufacturing methods are used.
• Collaborates with other departments on router configuration and workflow.
