Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements on the production floor. You will analyze bottlenecks, optimize tooling, and support new product launches with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

You will mentor operators and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce waste, improve OEE, and ensure consistent quality in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment in Sedalia, MO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; plastics/polymers experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Results-driven engineer with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and optimize process parameters, tooling, fixtures, and equipment setups.
• Lead manufacturing readiness activities for new product launches.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
