Job summary

United CNC Machining, a precision manufacturer serving aerospace and defense, is seeking an IT Support professional to assist the office and shop floor with daily technical issues, device setup, and Microsoft 365 administration.

You will work closely with the IT Manager to maintain network connectivity, security controls, and compliance readiness (CMMC 2.0+, NIST, ITAR), while helping minimize downtime and support production systems.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of computers, networks, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service mindset.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support to office and shop floor employees.
• Set up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 environment (email, Teams, file access).
• Assist in maintaining network connectivity across facilities.
• Help ensure system uptime for production-related devices and systems.
• Assist with cybersecurity policies, compliance documentation, and audits.
• Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and asset logs.
