Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in La Vergne, TN is seeking a permanent full-time IT Helpdesk Technician to provide on-site and remote end-user support for Windows PCs, software applications, printers, and basic network issues in a multi-site manufacturing environment.

This role handles incoming end-user tickets, escalates as needed, and collaborates with the IT team. Some travel between facilities will be required, including nights or weekends as necessary.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and MS Office applications.
• Troubleshooting and repairing PC hardware/software issues.
• Experience with basic network connectivity and printer/copier troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via ticketing system, phone, and on-site.
• Log, triage, and resolve tickets to meet SLAs; escalate when needed.
• Provide support for PCs, software, VoIP phones, printers, and copiers.
• Image, configure, and install PCs with required software.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and coordinate with IT staff for complex problems.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Assist with shop floor technology needs and equipment deployment.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and licenses; coordinate with vendors.
• Follow security policies and escalate security incidents as needed.
• Be available for after-hours on-call support.
