Job summary

Clark Resources is partnering with a leading manufacturer to recruit an HR Business Partner for its Des Moines, IA facility. The role supports plant leadership across employee relations, recruitment, retention, compliance, training and performance management.

You will manage full-cycle recruitment, advise on policies, ensure fair application of HR procedures and drive workforce initiatives. Strong communication and collaboration with employees and leaders at all levels are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 3–5 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, benefits, employment law and HR best practices
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work with employees and leaders at all levels
• PHR, SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to recruit, develop and retain a skilled workforce
• Manage full-cycle recruitment including postings, screening and interviews
• Advise supervisors on employee relations, performance management and policies
• Ensure HR policies are applied consistently and fairly
• Review hiring paperwork, promotions, transfers, and performance reviews
• Support onboarding and orientation
• Analyze HR data, prepare reports and recommend actions
• Participate in compliance audits and training
