Job summary

Alliance is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our Indianapolis team as a trusted partner to leaders and hourly team members in manufacturing.

This hands-on role focuses on employee relations, staffing, onboarding, and day-to-day HR support, reporting to the People Team Leader in Spokane while serving on-site in Indianapolis.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years HR, a Bachelor's in HR or related field, strong communication, and experience with Workday or similar HRIS; SHRM is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or hourly workforce.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Experience with staffing, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• SHRM certification is a plus; ability to handle confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and workplace concerns.
• Provide insights and guidance on policy application.
• Own attendance oversight and track trends.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and staffing.
• Investigate employee relations concerns and recommend resolutions.
• Support corrective action and performance improvement processes.
• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees.
• Support employee engagement, communication, culture initiatives.
• Ensure HR practices comply with laws and policies.
• Collaborate with People Team on HR programs and initiatives.
