Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for a Direct Hire, permanent placement position in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will handle a broad HR remit including employee engagement, onboarding, training, performance management, payroll assistance, and compliance to support a growing manufacturing operation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, ethics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, manufacturing/warehousing/distribution preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and confidential information handling required.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for HR-related issues and employee engagement.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, performance management, and payroll assistance.
• Support compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with audits and reporting.
