Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in the United States is seeking an HR Manager in Manufacturing to support the local HR department, ensure adherence to policies, laws, and regulations while fostering a positive company culture. You will collaborate with manufacturing leadership to drive continuous improvement and lead investigations into complaints.

This is a 100% onsite role with at least 30% time on the production floor, overseeing HR programs and audits, and handling labor/employee relations updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business administration, human resources or related field.
• 7 years related human resources experience.
• Capable of walking 30% of the time on the shop floor.
• Deep knowledge of HR KPIs (turnover, absenteeism, labor cost, headcount).
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, WC, EOE, COBRA, and EEOC.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations at plant locations.
• Provide guidance to Plant HR staff to maintain compliant, productive environments.
• Investigate discrimination or harassment complaints and recommend corrective action.
• Manage recruitment and selection process.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
• Conduct FLSA and HR audits as needed.
• Provide monthly labor/employee relations updates.
• Support budget processes and training needs assessment.
• Report to management with HR metrics.
