Job summary

Boater’s World Manufacturing Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our manufacturing operation in Chocowinity, North Carolina. You will serve as the senior on-site HR resource, partnering with employees, supervisors, plant leadership, and the corporate HR team to manage the full employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Active SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification OR a master's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience and minimum 3 years supporting a manufacturing workforce.
• Hands-on EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with incident investigations, safety training, OSHA recordkeeping, and workers’ compensation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site HR resource for employees and front-line supervisors.
• Provide guidance on policies, attendance, performance expectations, coaching, corrective action, and employee concerns.
• Support employee-relations investigations, documentation, and escalation to HR leadership as needed.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and new-hire documentation for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles.
• Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning, staffing, skills gaps, and turnover monitoring.
• Coordinate HRIS transactions, records, payroll-related information, and benefits communications.
• Support EHS programs, safety training, incident reviews, and return-to-work processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate employee records across shifts and departments.
