Golden Pet Manufacturing is seeking an HR Manager to lead recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and employee relations at our Seward, NE plant. The role includes advising leaders on complex people issues, guiding performance and bonus cycles, and ensuring employment law compliance across the site.

The HR Manager will partner with EHS and plant leadership to develop talent, succession, and workforce planning, while fostering a constructive, respectful environment on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in HR in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution center environment.
• PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruiting, staffing, and onboarding for all employees at the manufacturing plant.
• Provide expertise and direction to leaders on challenging and complex employee relations issues.
• Support the plant's performance review, merit planning, and bonus planning cycles, including communication to employees and training to leaders.
• Partner with leaders to identify high-potential employees or gaps in skills.
• Partner with EHS on reporting and management of workers' compensation cases.
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law.
• Provide leadership, direction and development opportunities to the plant's HR team.
• Maintain a visible, trusted presence on the production floor, building relationships with leaders and employees.
• Serve as the facility's primary HR partner to plant leadership on workforce planning, people decisions and employee programs.
