ROARK in Southern California is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead people practices across three manufacturing sites. You will advise senior leadership, manage staff, and conduct sensitive investigations in English and Spanish to protect the business and employees.

This role focuses on California employment compliance, workforce planning, recruitment, compensation analysis, and development of HR policies and metrics.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Industrial/Labor Relations, psychology, or related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial production.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and a predominantly non-exempt, hourly production workforce.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law and practical wage-hour compliance.
• Experience conducting and documenting workplace investigations, including harassment and employee relations complaints.
• Fluency in Spanish for investigations and communications with production employees without an interpreter.
• Proficient HRIS reporting and MS Office; ability to use data to improve HR services.

Responsabilidades

• Lead HR strategy and execution across three locations, translating operational priorities into practical HR initiatives.
• Own complex employee relations and workplace investigations, including interviews, findings, documentation, discipline recommendations, terminations, and communication with Spanish-speaking employees.
• Serve as a resource on California employment compliance, including wage/hour, meal/rest, timekeeping, overtime, and harassment prevention.
• Manage health and leave processes (ADA/FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, pregnancy leave, paid sick leave, workers’ compensation, return-to-work).
• Strengthen talent and workforce practices, overseeing recruiting and selection, staffing strategy, compensation market analysis, job descriptions, succession planning, leadership development, and management training.
• Lead and develop the HR function, establishing department goals and SOPs, supervising HR staff, managing HRIS data and reporting, and using metrics to improve service.
• Partner with operations on workforce risk and organizational health, including Cal/OSHA, injury prevention, benefits administration, and legal matter readiness.
