• Fluent/bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of California employment laws.
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
• Hands-on recruiting for hourly positions.
• I-9, leave administration, and HR compliance knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers at the facility.
• Manage recruiting and hiring for hourly manufacturing positions.
• Develop approaches to attract candidates in a competitive labor market.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new employees.
• Coach managers on employee relations and performance management.
• Conduct workplace investigations and ensure documentation and follow-up.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws, with emphasis on California.
• Review and improve HR policies, documentation, and practices; support training.
• Partner with leadership on engagement, retention, and workforce planning.
• Support workers' compensation administration and coordinate safety initiatives.
• Maintain HR records including I-9 documentation and leave programs.
• Monitor staffing, turnover, recruiting, and HR metrics.
• Participate in HR projects and process improvements.
• Identify workforce challenges and develop practical solutions.
