Job summary

Crossroadsstaffing in California Oxnard is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will partner with the Director of Human Resources to implement policies, handle employee relations, investigations, performance management, and leave administration.

The role requires 5+ years of HR management experience, deep knowledge of CA employment law, and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

5+ years of HR management/generalist experience.
Substantial knowledge of CA employment law including employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, performance management and leave administration.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Human Resources in administration and management of HR functions.
Manage day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance to managers and supervisors regarding employee relations and employment practices.
Counsel management regarding performance concerns, attendance, disciplinary actions, corrective action plans, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
Conduct and document workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, employee misconduct, policy violations, and other employee complaints.
Maintain working knowledge of California and federal employment requirements, including wage-and-hour requirements, meal and rest periods, protected leaves, reasonable accommodation, discrimination and harassment prevention, and recordkeeping requirements.
