Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of HR experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Work well on a team, both as a team player and leader.
• Proficiency in HRIS software for data management and reporting.
• Strong decision making and ability to align with UAW contract and company goals.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct employee onboarding for all levels and coordinate training with supervisors and managers.
• Gather and analyze HR data; create and present reports.
• Mediate conflicts and handle grievance processes with UAW.
• Support improvement plans to foster a positive work culture.
• Conduct training sessions and employee engagement events.
• Implement and enforce safety policies; investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure OSHA, EEOC and state health and safety compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits with UAW and management to improve safety culture.
• Collaborate with department heads to maintain LOTO and forklift policies and training.
