Job summary

Justrite Safety Group is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with plant leadership and employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support onboarding, HRIS maintenance, payroll-related activities, and benefits administration across the employee lifecycle.

You will build trusted relationships, ensure data accuracy, assist recruiting, provide coaching to managers, and help execute HR programs. This role supports safety, engagement, and continuous improvement in operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; equivalent combination considered.
• 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Assistant or Generalist.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, contracts, and personnel records.
• Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding, HRIS data management, payroll support, and records maintenance.
• Support benefit enrollments, changes, and qualification events.
• Assist with recruiting, scheduling, background checks, and documentation.
• Maintain employment eligibility documentation and internal HR processes.
• Provide coaching to managers on HR matters and employee communications.
• Coordinate training, safety programs, and employee engagement activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
