J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. in Reading, PA is seeking an HR Manager to partner with HR peers and leadership to implement company initiatives across Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Compensation, Talent Management and Compliance.

You will coordinate onboarding, coaching, training, performance management, policy administration and HRIS records, ensuring compliance and supporting production goals. 3+ years HR experience preferred in manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of related Human Resources experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR peers and managers to coordinate responsibilities in Employee Relations, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Talent Assessment & Succession Planning, Training, Performance Management, Policy administration, Compensation, and related areas.
• Provide coaching and counseling to team members.
• Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Facilitate learning and development activities for the workforce.
• Organize and track training to support production goals.
• Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of the department.
• Assist in the administration of performance management and policy compliance.
• Recommend improvements to policies and procedures to increase efficiency.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance and communicate HR policies and laws.
• Coach leadership on corrective actions and track implementations.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze data for leadership decisions.
• Represent the company at unemployment hearings when necessary.
