Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with plant leadership and employees across multiple Ohio facilities. You will drive talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and data-driven HR improvements to support operations.

The role requires 3+ years HR experience, manufacturing experience preferred, and strong skills in HRIS, reporting, and Excel. Travel to sites is required; SHRM certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience required. Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, employee relations, compliance, and analytical skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems and HR reporting; Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, IF Statements, Data Validation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to identify workforce needs and support recruiting strategies.
• Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and training activities.
• Serve as a trusted HR resource to employees and leaders.
• Assist with HR technology platforms including HRIS, payroll, learning management systems, and employee self-service tools.
• Maintain attendance, workforce, and employee records with data integrity.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute HR reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Analyze workforce metrics including turnover, retention, attendance, staffing levels, and engagement trends.
• Conduct regular audits of HR systems and employee data.
• Support employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct or support employee relations investigations and corrective action processes.
