Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking an HR Coordinator to support hourly payroll, onboarding, and HR administration at the Elk Grove Village, IL facility. You will protect confidentiality and partner with the Plant HR Manager to ensure accurate records for approximately 200 employees.

Responsibilities include payroll reconciliation in UKG, new hire processing, benefits reviews, HR audits, and coordinating training and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources or Business-related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering company/plant policies and procedures.
• Support hourly payroll functions in UKG and reconcile payroll records.
• Participate in new employee orientations and benefits reviews.
• Coordinate new hire documentation and ensure paperwork is on file.
• Maintain HR records, badges, and lockers; support safety initiatives.
• Assist with HR audits, timecards, attendance, and leave requests.
• Support training files and hourly employee development records.
• Handle recruitment coordination and interview scheduling.
• Support engagement activities and retention initiatives.
