Job summary

Clearwater Paper in Augusta, GA is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner I to provide HR support across manufacturing operations. You will serve as a liaison between employees, departments, and leadership to enable effective recruiting, staffing, documentation, job evaluation, compensation and benefits.

The role also supports labor relations matters under general direction. Responsibilities include partnering with operations leaders on performance management, coaching, and HR program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Less than 2 years HR generalist experience.
• Manufacturing, multi-site experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
• Experience with HRIS, Time & Attendance, LMS, ATS.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Demonstrated change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance and coaching to operations leaders.
• Manage performance management processes and address issues.
• Advise on HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
• Develop HR initiatives and process improvements.
• Maintain HR records and labor relations documentation.
• Coordinate talent acquisition and onboarding and training.
