UBE C1 Chemicals America is building a new Dimethyl Carbonate/Ethyl methyl Carbonate production plant in Waggaman, LA. We are seeking a hands-on HR Business Partner to work with the operations team, champion change management, and foster a culture of safety, compliance, and high performance.

The HRBP will align HR strategy with business goals, lead talent acquisition, development, and employee relations, and implement programs that drive workforce effectiveness in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state/local labor laws in manufacturing.
• Proven track record of driving organizational change and development.
• Experience with talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage relationships at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS.

Aufgaben

• Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and objectives.
• Provide proactive HR solutions for organizational challenges in manufacturing.
• Advise managers on people-related issues including employee relations and performance management.
• Act as trusted advisor on conflict resolution and workplace investigations.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Identify training needs and coordinate development programs with internal/external experts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ethics, and compliance through training.
• Implement performance management systems and guide managers on goal setting and reviews.
• Monitor labor costs and support compensation program alignment with policy.
• Explain benefits and assist employees in utilizing them.
• Monitor HR metrics and drive continuous improvement through data analysis.
