Job summary

Saronic Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Manufacturing Finance team. This role owns cost and variance analysis, budgeting, and reporting that connect factory floor activities to financial outcomes across operations and supply chain.

You will work with operators, engineers, and leadership to deliver timely insights, mentor junior analysts, and improve costing processes in a fast-growth manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, FP&A, or a related analytical role.
• Hands-on experience with standard costing, including cost roll-ups, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Experience in product manufacturing environments, with a working understanding of production processes, BOMs, routings, and factory cost drivers.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights clearly to operations and leadership stakeholders.
• Ability to own a body of work end to end, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality results.
• Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities and multiple work streams.
• Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive, Foundry, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing variance analysis end to end, including price, usage, labor, overhead, and yield variances.
• Own cost and margin reporting for product and program level COGS and gross margin analyses.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with manufacturing plans, headcount, and material costs.
• Support overhead and standard costing; contribute to overhead pools and standard cost updates.
• Analyze inventory balances, valuation, and obsolete exposure; reconcile with Accounting.
• Partner with Accounting during month-end close; prepare cost analyses and schedules.
• Build and maintain financial models for production, material, labor, and capacity.
• Prepare monthly management reporting with commentary on key drivers and variances.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to turn drivers into insights.
• Lead ad hoc analyses like ROI assessments for equipment and capacity decisions.
• Mentor junior analysts and set quality standards; drive process improvements in costing and reporting.
• Keep work moving; organize priorities and escalate blockers as needed.
