Job summary

Saronic Technologies seeks a Cost Accounting Manager to own standard costing, inventory valuation, and the cost accounting close. You’ll partner with Manufacturing Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Production, and Engineering to ensure accurate, auditable cost reporting and scalable processes in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

You will lead variance analysis, ERP integrity, and process improvements while shaping controls and audit readiness across PMS, MES, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years in accounting with cost accounting in manufacturing
• Hands-on with standard costing, cost roll-ups, variance analysis, inventory valuation
• GAAP knowledge for inventory and COGS
• Experience owning month-end close for inventory and cost accounting
• Understanding data flow between production, MES, and ERP
• Excellent Excel skills with advanced modeling
• Ability to streamline and automate processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication with cross-functional and senior stakeholders
• Ability to work independently under pressure
• NetSuite or other ERP experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Responsibilities

• Own the standard costing process and maintain standard costs in ERP
• Own inventory valuation and related financial reporting
• Own month-end close for inventory and cost accounting
• Analyze purchase price, usage, labor, overhead, and yield variances
• Ensure ERP integrity across PMS, MES, and ERP systems
• Coordinate on overhead pools and raw material standard costs
• Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve variances
• Define standards of excellence for cost accounting and controls
• Drive process improvements and automation across cost and supply chains
• Support management decisions with financial analysis of costs and inventory
• Assist audits and apply technical accounting to inventory matters
• Identify risks to cost accuracy and valuation early
