Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join Mission Operations Finance. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across a complex services organization, partnering with operational leaders to link business activity with financial plans and decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, operational finance, or related analytical role
• Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling ability
• Strong understanding of financial statements, expense drivers and cost allocation
• Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Ability to present to senior stakeholders and collaborate with operational leaders
• Curiosity to learn business drivers and ability to work with incomplete data
• Ability to prioritize requests in a fast-changing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reviews for assigned operational teams.
• Partner with operational leaders to understand activity, evaluate assumptions, and recommend actions on staffing, spending, and resources
• Build financial models linking demand to workforce, equipment, and material requirements
• Maintain headcount and labor forecasts reflecting staffing plans
• Analyze results vs plan, explain spending and cost allocation
• Track and forecast operational performance including workforce and asset utilization
• Prepare clear management reporting and ad hoc analyses
• Coordinate planning with finance partners and reconcile results with Accounting
• Improve models, reporting, and planning processes with Finance
