Job summary

Tyler Pipe seeks a Controller to lead the finance, accounting, and IT functions in a manufacturing setting. You will partner with factory leadership to develop financial strategies, monitor risk, and ensure policy compliance while driving data-driven decisions.

The role requires strong leadership, US GAAP proficiency, and the ability to translate financial results into actionable business insights in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Progressive experience in accounting/finance including leadership of a finance/accounting team.
• Experience leading finance or accounting in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, financial controls, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and track financial plans, forecasts, and proforma models for divisional units.
• Oversee working capital, cash flow, inventory, asset management, and ROI for capital projects.
• Evaluate ROI for capital initiatives and support strategic investments.
• Lead the finance and accounting department with accurate reporting (closings, budgeting, payroll, A/P, A/R).
• Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance; manage audits.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and McWane Corporate on policy development and implementation.
• Supervise IT and cross-functional teams; promote data-driven decision making.
• Drive process improvements through technology and ERP enhancements.
