Job summary

E & H Tubing, Inc. is seeking a Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations at its Brownstown, Indiana manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes partnering with operations to drive profitability and deliver accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing finance, CPA/CMA preferred, and a strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting. On-site leadership and cross-functional collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting/finance management experience in manufacturing.
• CPA, CMA or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, margin analysis, pricing, and product profitability in manufacturing.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and KPIs.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Cash flow management and working capital experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, close processes).
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for business decisions.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity; manage working capital.
• Provide financial insights to ownership and management for profitability and capital investments.
• Partner with production to analyze costs, margins, and process improvements.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure asset protection and accuracy.
• Coordinate with external auditors and financial institutions.
• Support strategic initiatives and operational planning.
• Contribute to management discussions and long-term strategy.
