Job summary

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation in Corona, CA is seeking a Financial Analyst to support month-end close, standard cost accounting, and inventory control while partnering with Operations. The role spans cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting to influence manufacturing decisions.

You will communicate results to Operations partners, analyze data in SAP and Excel, and contribute to daily and monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• GAAP and standard cost accounting knowledge.
• Experience with SAP (Fixed Assets, inventory, BOMs, and routings) and advanced Excel.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and Fixed Assets reconciliation.
• Prepare standard cost estimates for new and existing SKUs and provide NPI cost estimating support.
• Own and support inventory management activities, including obsolete inventory tracking and YEIs across areas.
• Perform daily reconciliation of scrap with Operations and produce daily reporting on labor, Tools & Supplies, scrap, and other metrics.
• Own petty cash and checking account reconciliation; process expense requests for R&D/NPI/production areas.
• Support special projects for Finance and Operations and communicate results to influence decisions.
