Job summary

Allegion Fontana, CA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with plant leaders to drive cost controls, month-end close, and management reporting. You will analyze variances, establish standard costs, track CERs, and support forecasting and budgeting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 4–6 years of manufacturing finance experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office; experience with Dynamics 365 or ERP implementations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4-6 years of hands-on accounting/finance experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Proficiency with GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Work with plant leaders to drive process improvements and elimination of non-value activities.
• Month End Closing Process - including financial analysis, researching discrepancies, account reconciliations, and plant reporting.
• Management Reporting and Analysis - prepare weekly and monthly management reports and use reports to drive improvements and escalation of issues.
• Perform cost analysis/cost-rolls, manufacturing variance analysis, including standard cost establishment.
• CER (capital expenditure request) project tracking, assist on CER analysis and provide monthly spend details.
• Provide forecasting and budgeting support.
• Projects and special assignments, audit support, physical inventory, and other projects.
• Maintain a robust internal control environment to ensure GAAP compliance and participate in SOX testing.
