Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Senior Analyst Finance to assist the Finance Manager in plant accounting and to back up the manager as needed. The role involves analyzing data with plant and corporate personnel to support sound business decisions and to ensure accurate SOX and internal controls.

You will coordinate cost inputs, prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and partner with inventory to value materials accurately.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting with ERP exposure.
• Cost accounting background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, administer and maintain financial controls including SOX.
• Support standard cost input for materials, labor and overhead.
• Prepare journal entries for monthly close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Work with inventory to ensure material transactions are properly valued.
• Assist in forecasts, budgeting and cost reduction analyses.
• Provide data and guidance for internal/external reporting and audits.
