Job summary

The role requires hands-on engineering on the factory floor, strong analytical skills, and a passion for improving equipment performance in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 0-6 years of engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing setting (co-op experience welcomed).
• Hands-on familiarity with automated machinery, PLCs, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and tooling.
• Strong technical analytical skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced plant environment.
• Passion for hands-on engineering problem solving on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis on automated manufacturing machinery and robotics.
• Analyze equipment downtime metrics and develop permanent countermeasures using data analytics and PDCA.
• Lead machinery enhancement projects, automated system integrations, and capital installation trials.
• Develop and manage equipment maintenance budgets and continuous improvement cost-reduction plans.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians on equipment reliability standards and preventative routines.
