Honda Development & Manufacturing of America seeks a Manufacturing Equipment Reliability Engineer at the Anna Engine Plant in Anna, OH. You will lead equipment reliability improvements, analyze downtime using PDCA, and implement automated technologies to meet plant SQCDME targets.

You will conduct hands-on troubleshooting of automated engine manufacturing equipment, review shift reports, drive permanent countermeasures, and mentor maintenance technicians to strengthen technical capabilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or Technology required.
• 0-6 years engineering experience in industrial manufacturing (co-op welcome).
• Familiarity with automated equipment and measurements on the shop floor.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and root cause investigations on automated engine manufacturing equipment.
• Review daily shift reports, identify downtime gaps, and implement permanent engineering countermeasures.
• Lead machinery enhancement projects and evaluate new automation technologies to improve equipment efficiency.
• Manage investment and operating expense budgets to achieve department cost targets.
• Develop technical capabilities of maintenance technicians through training and mentorship.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical).
• 0-6 years of engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing setting (co-op experience welcomed).
• Familiarity with automated equipment, PLC troubleshooting, quality gauging, and instrumentation.
• Strong technical analytical skills and desire to work hands-on on the factory floor.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
