Job summary

You will analyze data, drive PDCA, manage equipment and processes, mentor teammates, and lead projects from concept to completion in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
• 0-6 years’ experience based on education; co-op experience helpful but not required.
• Computer literate to support industry standard software applications.
• Positive attitude, open minded and a team player.
• Strong self-motivation and desire to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Self-managed and able to provide and set direction for others to be successful.
• Demonstrates leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication (verbal/written) skills.
• Ability to multi-task and solve complex problems through analytics to propose and implement countermeasures based on timing, quality, and cost.
• Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Communicate upstream and downstream to all levels of the organization to assure common understanding and direction.
• Review daily reports to identify safety, quality, delivery gaps and develop countermeasures and root cause analysis opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Use data analysis and PDCA to lead, support, develop and justify solutions with related groups for your area of responsibility.
• Monitor and manage equipment and processes to ensure optimal manufacturing performance and minimize operating expenses.
• Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Establish priorities and make decisions based on data to meet business objectives.
• Manage project implementation, schedule, budget and resource allocations to ensure successful completion.
• Test, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve equipment and process efficiency.
• Develop and manage investment and expense budgets to achieve cost targets.
