Job summary

IDEX in Albuquerque seeks an Engineering Manager to guide production by aligning manufacturing and design engineers, increasing capacity, and driving efficiency. This leadership role reports to the Site Leader and focuses on delivering improvements across processes and new product introductions.

The position requires strong analytical skills, experience leading an engineering team, and the ability to translate customer specs into actionable procedures while adhering to safety and quality

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with statistical process control or similar methods.
• Three years of direct engineering team leadership/supervision.
• Lean Six Sigma certifications and use are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive continuous improvement for manufacturing.
• Lead root cause analysis and develop effective countermeasures.
• Create and manage timelines for projects.
• Build and improve processes around new product introduction coordination.
• Establish, follow, and enforce all safety regulations.
• Translate customer specifications into department procedures.
