Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in the Windber, PA area (on-site) to lead a high-mix PCBA and EMS manufacturing team.

You will drive NPI transitions, optimize SMT and through-hole processes, and implement Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and quality. The role requires a strong background in automated SMT lines, IPC standards, and MES, plus 3+ years in a leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8+ years in high-mix/low-volume PCBA EMS manufacturing.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Deep knowledge of SMT lines, soldering metallurgy, IPC guidelines, and MES.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing and Process Engineers; manage KPIs and budget.
• Optimize PCBA processes including SMT, reflow, wave soldering, coating.
• Champion NPI with DFMs for high-yield production.
• Oversee capital equipment selection and IQ/OQ/PQ validation.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma to reduce scrap and cycle times.
