Job Juncture seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for its Windber, PA area site. You will lead the manufacturing engineering team on SMT and through-hole lines, overseeing NPI transitions to high-yield production and optimizing factory layouts.

The role emphasizes lean initiatives, Six Sigma, and capital equipment projects to elevate efficiency. The position is full-time, exempt, on-site with a competitive base salary and annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–8+ years in a high-mix/low-volume PCBA EMS environment.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Deep knowledge of modern automated SMT line configurations, advanced soldering metallurgy, IPC guidelines, and MES.
• Familiarity with regulated quality systems: ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485.
• Competitive base salary plus annual bonus eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Direct, motivate, and develop a team of Manufacturing and Process Engineers; oversee budgets and KPIs.
• Define, analyze, and improve PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT lines, reflow, selective solder, wave solder, conformal coating).
• Champion the NPI process to ensure smooth transition from client design to high-yield production with robust DFM reviews.
• Lead selection, installation, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of new equipment, robotics, and smart-factory tech.
• Drive Lean & 5S culture to reduce scrap, optimize cycle times, and eliminate waste.
