Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Advanced Programs Product Center Manufacturing Engineering team in Dallas, TX. You will guide a group of Manufacturing Engineers supporting cutting-edge programs from concept through initial production readiness.

You will champion producibility, drive execution excellence, and advance model-based engineering and the digital thread across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Prior experience in a leadership capacity.
• Experience with development programs & transitioning development programs to production.
• Experience in design for manufacturing / assembly or design to cost.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Ability to lead cross functional teams.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration and developing enduring business relationships.
• Ability to liaison between LM Subcontractors, internal disciplines, and Production Operations.
• Ability to build positive relationships with the customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of Manufacturing Engineers.
• Guide the team in manufacturability, producibility, and design for cost.
• Drive model-based engineering and digital thread adoption across programs.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Operations leaders.
• Champion automation, additive manufacturing, robotics, and advanced CAM tools.
• Identify risks and brief program leadership to ensure on-time delivery.
