Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas, TX seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Advanced Programs Product Center Manufacturing Engineering team. You will guide a talented group from concept through production readiness, championing producibility and driving modern manufacturing with model-based approaches.

You will collaborate with program managers, chief engineers, and site SMEs to ensure alignment, manage costs, schedules, and safety, and accelerate automation and digital thread across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Manufacturing Engineering experience with a leadership background.
• Experience in development programs and transition to production.
• Design for manufacturing/assembly or cost-focused design experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• Interpersonal skills for collaboration and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing Manufacturing Engineering team across programs.
• Champion producibility and drive execution excellence in advanced production.
• Advance model-based practices and digital thread from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate with PMs, chiefs engineers, and operations to align objectives.
• Drive automation, additive manufacturing, robotics, and CAD/CAM tooling.
• Brief risks and secure alignment across LM sites and suppliers.
