Job summary

Brooks Instrument, a division of ITW, seeks a Production Operations and Service Manager in Hatfield, PA. You will lead SEMI Thermal production across three shifts, oversee service, repairs, and failure-analysis, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction while aligning with business unit goals and Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or related field.
• Minimum seven years in manufacturing ops, production management, or related environment.
• Minimum three years of direct people leadership experience.
• Experience in ISO 9001 or similar quality systems preferred.
• Experience with semiconductor, thermal, or instrumental products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multi-shift Semi Thermal production operations.
• Manage service technician and service coordinator functions.
• Set staffing plans and schedules to meet demand and objectives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery across shifts.
• Monitor KPIs: safety, quality, delivery, productivity, lead time, and customer responsiveness.
• Lead daily management and gemba activities; drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Materials to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and standard work.
