Johnson Controls is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for designing tools, controls, equipment and processes for HVAC fabrication and assembly. You will guide lean initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional groups to meet performance and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or related field; Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing preferred.
• At least 8 years in manufacturing/production and 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong track record in project management, cost estimating, and vendor interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering team to design tools, controls, equipment and processes for fabrication and assembly of HVAC units.
• Develop future state vision and drive implementation plans.
• Coach technicians and engineers; manage performance and development.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and NPI to ensure standards and issue resolution.
• Drive Lean initiatives, 3P Kaizen events, and continuous improvement to reduce waste and costs.
