Job summary

Analogic is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Canton, MA to lead a high-performing team and drive advanced manufacturing initiatives. You will shape automation strategies, oversee new product readiness, and partner with Operations to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in manufacturing engineering leadership, deep Lean/Six Sigma experience, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration in a high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering professionals and technical teams.
• Experience leading manufacturing initiatives from concept to implementation and sustaining performance.
• Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes, automation, and production systems.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methods.
• Ability to use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage the Manufacturing Engineering team, establishing priorities, goals, and performance expectations.
• Provide technical and operational leadership to support production, quality, cost, delivery, and business objectives.
• Establish priorities across competing engineering and operational needs and align resources to high-value opportunities.
• Develop team capabilities, identify skill gaps, and build a strong pipeline of technical talent.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving.
• Partner with Operations to improve performance and monitor KPIs like downtime, yield, and throughput.
• Lead automation initiatives and validate, document, and maintain systems with vendors and maintenance teams.
• Oversee NPI readiness, DFM/DFA reviews, tooling, and production transfers.
