Job summary

Analogic seeks a senior leader to direct the Manufacturing Engineering Function in Canton, MA. You will lead the team, set priorities, and ensure alignment with production, quality, cost, and delivery goals.

Responsibilities include advancing automation, NPI readiness, and Lean initiatives while collaborating with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver scalable manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering or related environment with leadership.
• Experience mentoring or leading engineering professionals and teams.
• Experience leading manufacturing engineering initiatives from concept to implementation and sustaining.
• Strong understanding of advanced manufacturing processes, automation, and production systems.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, automated assembly, or similar technologies.
• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Data-driven decision making and ability to identify trends and risks.
• Experience with NPI, DFM/DFA, process validation, tooling, and readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team to set priorities, goals, and performance expectations.
• Provide technical and operational leadership to support production, quality, cost, delivery, and business objectives.
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Lead automation, robotics, PLCs, and test systems initiatives and evaluate ROI.
• Oversee NPI readiness, DFM/DFA reviews, and process validation for new products.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement across operations.
• Collaborate across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Product Engineering.
