Job summary

Gabriele & Company seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing Operations Team in Massachusetts. This role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing processes from NPI through steady-state production, reporting to the Sr.

Operations Engineering Manager. You will lead process development, drive Lean-driven cost and efficiency improvements, and own critical documentation while ensuring safety and quality standards across production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering required.
• - 8+ years of experience in an electromechanical manufacturing environment.
• - Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma DMAIC experience (Greenbelt a plus).
• - Proficiency with SolidWorks, PLM tools (Arena preferred), and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process development: manufacturability (DFX, PFMEA, DFMEA, GD&T, tolerance analysis), tooling/fixture design, and equipment installation for NPI.
• Drive cost and efficiency improvements using Lean tools — Value Stream Mapping, Gemba walks, time studies.
• Own manufacturing documentation: work instructions, process control plans, ECOs, and ISO 9001/QMS-aligned rev-controlled workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause analysis on field failures and quality escapes.
• Champion safety standards across equipment, tooling, and daily production practices.
• Lead mid- to high-level projects, presenting status updates to leadership.

This is a visible, cross-functional role developing and improving manufacturing processes — from NPI through steady-state production — reporting to the Sr. Operations Engineering Manager.
