Job summary

Stryten Energy in Attica, IN seeks a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to optimize manufacturing capabilities, equipment development, and process improvements. You will lead equipment engineers, oversee contractors, and drive cost, safety, and quality improvements across projects.

You will mentor 2–5 engineers, champion lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and coordinate with plant personnel to implement state-of-the-art tooling and processes while ensuring timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or technical field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Apply lean manufacturing principles in operations, including process layouts and flows.
• Manage tooling design, modification, and maintenance for production machinery.
• Lead design engineers during tooling aspects of new product introduction.
• Own capital projects including equipment budget and timeline management.
• Drive make-versus-buy decisions for new production projects.
• Troubleshoot productivity, quality, and parts issues with root-cause analysis.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for emissions and environmental concerns.
• Develop world-class manufacturing workstations and optimize equipment.
