Job summary

Stryten Energy Indiana seeks a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to optimize plant capabilities, capital equipment, and production processes. You will lead equipment development, coordinate with design engineers and outside contractors, and drive automation to improve safety, cost, and quality.

Lead a team of 2–5 process engineers, apply lean/Six Sigma, and champion manufacturing improvements from root cause analysis to sustainable controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
• Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma experience.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and train 2-5 process engineers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and facilitation skills.
• Proactive, results-oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Apply lean manufacturing principles in operations, including process layouts and tooling.
• Identify continuous improvement and cost reduction activities with operations, maintenance, and quality.
• Design, modify, and maintain tooling, jigs, fixtures for production machinery.
• Collaborate with design engineers during NPI to transition products to production.
• Recommend design changes to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Manage suppliers for tools, design services, and build services; liaise between suppliers and production.
• Direct activities related to industrial engineering and optimize plant layouts.
