Job summary

Stryten Energy in Kansas City seeks a seasoned manufacturing leader to coordinate shop floor activities, guide Area Managers, and ensure production goals are met safely and cost-effectively. You will drive lean initiatives (Six Sigma, DMAIC, kaizen) and analyze operations to set priorities across multiple product lines.

The role requires a BS in Business/Management/Engineering and 5+ years of management in manufacturing, with strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives and problem-solving methods.
• Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machining methods.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of shop floor management in assigned areas.
• Provide guidance and direction to Area Managers
• Assure production levels are attained by anticipating needs, establishing goals, and determining priorities.
• Determine direct and indirect manning requirements to maximize throughput.
• Serve as point-of-contact for internal plant operational issues for customers.
• Lead continuous improvement via Lean, Six Sigma (DMAIC) and kaizen events.
• Drive safety performance within the plant operations team.
