Job summary

Brunswick Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for Edgewater, FL, to boost productivity and cut costs by reengineering manufacturing processes. This full-time internship runs May–August 2027, onsite, with a pay range of $18.00–$26.00 per hour. Authorization to work in the U.S.

is required; relocation is available. Responsibilities include analyzing processes, forecasting manpower, applying Lean/Six Sigma, and 3D-modeling plant layouts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Basic Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Experience utilizing engineering tools and methods in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, MS Project.
• Strong communication, people skills and ability to work independently in a fiberglass/resin environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing manufacturing processes using engineering tools and techniques.
• Conducting manpower forecasts, capacity analysis, resource leveling, etc.
• Assisting in the implementation and utilization of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools, and methodologies.
• Studying, analyzing, and reducing variation in critical manufacturing processes.
• Maintain documentation on related studies and analysis.
• Performing related assignments as required.
• 3D-Modeling of plant layout to aid in building layouts.
