Job summary

You will analyze processes, perform capacity analyses, apply Lean Six Sigma tools, and create 3D plant layouts. Projects include fiberglass mold work and CAD development for Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, and Navan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Basic Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Experience utilizing engineering tools and methods in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, MS Project.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes using engineering tools and techniques.
• Conduct manpower forecasts, capacity analysis, resource leveling.
• Assist in the implementation and utilization of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
• Study variation in critical manufacturing processes.
• Maintain documentation on related studies and analysis.
• 3D-Modeling of plant layout to be used to assist in building layouts.
• Internship timeframe: May–August 2027.
