Job summary

Brunswick Corporation in Edgewater, FL is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Intern position for May–August 2027. The role focuses on increasing productivity and reducing costs through reengineering manufacturing processes in a hands-on setting.

The intern will analyze processes, perform capacity and manpower analyses, support Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and develop 3D plant layouts and CAD models for our Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, and Navan brands. Relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field with at least 2 years completed.
• Basic Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Experience using engineering tools and methods in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Access, and MS Project.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently in a fast-paced fiberglass/resin environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States immediately without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes using engineering tools and techniques.
• Perform capacity analysis, manpower forecasts, and resource leveling.
• Assist with Lean Six Sigma tool implementations.
• Study variation in critical processes and document findings.
• Create 3D plant layout models to support space planning.
• Support internship projects including fiberglass mold creation and CAD for new products.
• Work full-time 40 hours per week May–August 2027.
