Job summary
GE Vernova is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to establish internal processes that ensure the safe production of high-quality products across multiple Punchline lines. The role collaborates daily with floor manufacturing, production, and quality teams to maintain schedules and drive continuous improvement through multiple projects focused on capabilities, cycle times, and issue resolution.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years of manufacturing experience, plus knowledge of
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with 3+ years manufacturing experience.
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling software.
- Experience designing tooling and fixtures.
- Familiarity with lean principles – takt/cycle and 5S.
Responsibilities
- Define and control production processes including tooling and equipment.
- Validate design specs and shop floor application of new products/tools/equipment.
- Lead improvement efforts for equipment reliability, tooling, process controls, and safety/ergonomic solutions.
- Develop work instructions and procedures to support operator training and process control.
- Serve as the system and process expert for the floor manufacturing team.
- Interface with manufacturing and support teams to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost goals.
