Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a manufacturing engineer to define and control the production process, including tooling and equipment. The role supports new product, tool, and equipment implementation from design through production and drives improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will troubleshoot manufacturing issues using data-driven approaches, collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, and contribute to documentation like work instructions and FMEAs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience)
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
  • Support new product, tool, and equipment implementation from design through production.
  • Drive process improvements to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to meet business goals.
  • Use technical knowledge and data to solve production and process problems.
  • Lead or support projects that improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Follow established procedures while exercising sound judgment on day-to-day decisions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and operators.
  • Maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, quality records, FMEAs, and electronic manufacturing systems.
